McMenamin's House

This lovely traditional farmhouse is located in a quiet rural area and has sea views of Lough Swilly. Recently modernised, the house has been part of the local landscape for many years and is ideal for those who desire something a little bit different and more private from the average holiday cottage. Many of the original features of this farmhouse have been preserved in the tasteful renovation so you can enjoy your stay in an authentic Donegal home. Your pet is also very welcome!

Rathmullan and Kerrykeel villages with their beaches, shops, pubs,  and restaurants, are a 10 min car drive away and the house makes an excellent base for touring the various attractions of Co. Donegal. For the golf enthusiast the superb course at Portsalon is a 15 min drive away while boat charter and pony trekking are available in Rathmullan village.

Special note: If you have a pony you wish to take on holiday, the surrounding land is available to you for grazing and trekking by prior arrangement with the owner.

McMenamin's House facilities include: 

- 3 bedrooms to sleep 6
    1 x bunk beds (ground floor) + 1 x single bed (ground floor) + 1 x double + single (upstairs)
- spacious sitting room, on upper floor with open fireplace
- oil fired central heating throughout  
- tv, dvd, cd/radio music system (bring own cd's)
- traditional style country kitchen with Belfast sink
- open fireplace in kitchen
- microwave
- fridge/freezer 
- washing machine
- iron and ironing board
- child friendly: travel cot, stairgate, highchair
- outside clothes line
- bed linen provided free of charge (bring your own towels)
- 10 minutes drive to beach, shops and restaurants
- pets welcome

Prices are for the house and are fully inclusive of heating, linen and electricity.
A €100 or stg100 (non refundable) deposit payable by cheque secures your booking 
the balance being payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
