The Rathmullan Watersports School is run by the Rathmullan and District Resource Centre in association with the Lough Swilly Yacht Club. All of our instructors are fully ISA certified. The Centre is currently applying for full ISA Centre recognition and hopes to have achieved this by programme begin. The 2009 programme and schedule are pending funding approval and subject to confirmation by June 10th.

Summer Sailing Programme
Get sailing this summer with the Rathmullan Watersports School. Our ISA certified instructors will be offering three levels of courses designed to get you on the water and up to speed in our fleet of new Laser Pico dinghies.

COURSES
A TASTE OF SAILING
A Taste of Sailing provides an introduction to the thrills
and spills of sailing, giving you a flavour of the sport in a
controlled, safe environment. No prior knowledge is required.
DURATION 3 hours
FEE Adults €45 Youths €35
START SAILING
The Start Sailing course incorporates the introduction of a
Taste of Sailing and will soon have you sailing in light
conditions with the assistance of your instructor. No prior
knowledge is required.
DURATION Five days
FEE Adults €200 Youths €180
BASIC SKILLS
The Basic Skills course builds on the skills and experience
gained in Start Sailing and will see you mastering the art of
sailing in light conditions without any assistance from your
instructor. To participate, you will be expected to demonstrate
the skills and knowledge covered under Start Sailing.
DURATION Five days
FEE Adults €200 Youths €180
All necessary equipment – boats, wetsuits and flotation devices – provided by the Rathmullan Watersports School.
