These delightful and spacious self-catering holiday cottages (4 available) are set in fabulous surroundings on the shores of Lough Swilly where luxury and comfort can be enjoyed in a relaxed setting. With Rathmullan village a 5-minute walk away you can enjoy the convenience of its pubs and restaurants. The location is also an ideal base for golfing, deep-sea angling, horse riding and walking holidays.

Located in a secure, quiet location these Ireland vacation rentals are ideally suited to families or to people just wanting to ‘get away from it all’. You can enjoy a stroll on the beach or in the woodlands of elm, hawthorn and ash that surround the village. We hope you enjoy your time in Donegal, Ireland and take time to savour its many delights. Your first visit will certainly not be your last.

Brilliant cottage that suited us perfectly and in a great location

We are back home now in Glasgow but just wanted to say a big thank you to you for organising our cottage stay. We all absolutely loved it especially as the weather was so kind to us too. Brilliant cottage that suited us perfectly and in a great location. It was nice to see Rathmullan coming out of the pandemic and in such a positive fashion too.

The cottage was a perfect home from home and had absolutely everything a family could possibly need!

We’re just home following our stay at No4 with our whole family and I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was a perfect home from home and had absolutely everything a family could possibly need! It was welcoming, clean and warm and super well appointed. The kids and our two little Jack Russell’s loved the garden and wore themselves out playing outside and at the beach every day and in the evenings the adults relaxed with a glass of wine around that lovely open fire (the fire bag and wood ready and waiting for us was a welcome touch!). So thank you very much indeed and we plan to be back very soon indeed!

A long overdue email from me to say how wonderful our stay in Rathmullan was. The house was fantastic – everything we could need was there – even a wee ginger cat joined us for breakfast on the last morning! Thanks very much for everything – we tried to leave the house as we found it. Hope to stay again sometime in the future – perhaps in better weather!

I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know what a great time we had in Rathmullan. We stayed with our extended family in 2 of the houses last week. I have to commend you on the quality of the accommodation. The houses were well equipped and very safe for toddlers. There was plenty to do in and around Rathmullan – in fact we didn’t get a chance to do everything we wanted, so we’ll be back!

Just thought I’d let you know Brian, we had a really lovely holiday. We loved the house, it was very comfortable, warm and clean. We made great use of Belles bistro which we thoroughly enjoyed!! Great food! Loved the fact the house was so close to the village shops and the beach. The kids had a ball. We’d love to go back sometime so keep us informed of any special offers there may be!!
